Nathalie Nahoum-Grandin loves cooking and she invites you, with irresistible enthusiasm, to take a voyage with her on board of her casseroles and terrines.

She offers a warm welcome in her guest house, La Maison Rives, in the attractive 'book village' Montolieu near Carcassonne in the Aude. Lessons take place there or at guests' homes for groups as small as two people. They are intended to teach cooking enthusiasts as well as amateur cooks, from beginners to experienced cooks, from young to less young !

Tasty organic cuisine in the Languedoc

Nathalie shares her open space kitchen with her trainees: a large wooden table, professional ovens and generous work surfaces enable her amateur guests to share an exceptional experience and learn new innovative techniques.

She also teaches in private homes or other situations, her baskets overflowing with fresh  vegetables, with countless new ideas to cook and share her preparations of organic produce from neighbouring farmers.

Succulent duck breasts, slices of delicious foie gras, colourful pumpkins and forgotten vegetables, sweet fruit slowly bubbling over a low flame, compotes... She likes to associate sweet and savoury tastes, soft and crunchy textures, rich and fresh, lemony aromas.

The workshops start at the end of the afternoon and often last until the end of the evening according to the programme : vegetables, colours, spices, creativity and conviviality !
